Frequently asked questions

What do padel levels mean?

Most booking apps and clubs use a 0 to 7 scale. Roughly: 0 to 1.5 is a beginner, 2 to 3 an improver or intermediate who can rally and use the back glass, 4 to 5 an advanced club player with reliable overheads, and 6 to 7 a competition player.

How is an app level different from this estimate?

App levels move with your match results and your opponents' levels. This calculator estimates where to start from how you play, which is useful before your first rated matches or when booking a new club.

I play tennis. What level am I in padel?

Tennis players usually rally well from day one but struggle with balls off the glass and the bandeja. Expect to start around 1.5 to 2.5 and move up quickly once the walls click.
